A former college football standout in New York died at age 25, just a week before the NFL Draft. Amitral “AJ” Simon, a defensive lineman for the University at Albany, announced late last year that he was entering his name in the draft. Relatives of a Massachusetts woman who was found dead on an upstate New York hiking trail after a weekslong search are finding solace in knowing she spent her final moments someplace she adored. Ford Recalls Over 450K Of Some Of Its Most Popular Models Over Safety Concerns
Ford announced that it would recall over 450,000 Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick vehicles because of an issue with the battery that can cause the drive train to lose power and increase the likelihood of wrecks. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a report on Friday, April 12, saying sensors in the car could fail to notice a change in the battery's power. The weekslong search for a 40-year-old woman who went missing near a remote hiking trail in Massachusetts near the border with New York ended earlier this week after hikers found her body on a trail in New York. She had been missing for nearly a month Fae Morgana Barbone, age 40, was reported missing from Williamstown, Massachusetts, on Thursday, March 7. A police officer is recovering following a chase and shootout in the region that left the suspect dead. The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, in Albany’s Pine Hills neighborhood, just yards from the College of Saint Rose campus. Inmate's Death At Schenectady County Jail Being Investigated
An investigation is underway after an inmate died at a jail in the region. Staff at the Schenectady County jail discovered 53-year-old Hussayn McCain unresponsive in his cell at around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, according to the sheriff’s office.
