Parents may register their children on March 10, 14, 15, 29 and 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. and April 4, 6, 12, 14, 18, and 20 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The registrations will take place in the Board of Education Building at 165 North Columbus Ave. in Mount Vernon.
“We have provided a number of sessions during evening hours to accommodate working parents,” said Mount Vernon City Schools Superintendent Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton.
“We encourage parents to come in and make sure their Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten aged children are registered so they have a smooth start in September.”
In order to ensure a smooth registration, parents should have the following:
- Proof of Birth
- Current Immunization (doctor’s stamp)
- Result of Lead Testing (doctor’s stamp)
- Proof of Residency (2)
- Current utility bill
- Current lease/deed
- Photo identification of guardian
