N. Middleton Twp. Police: Car Sinking In Conodoguinet Creek

A pair escaped from a car sinking into Conodoguinet Creek on Tuesday night, police announced on Thursday, Dec. 28.

The North Middleton Police Department received a call "for a report of multiple people trapped within a vehicle, sinking into the Conodoguinet Creek," at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Dec. 26, the department detailed in the release.

Officers responded to the North Middleton Park boat launch at Park Avenue, Waggoners Gap Road in Carlisle. They found emergency services had arrived and were helping the pair who had already escaped the vehicle and made it back to the shore.

No injuries were reported.

This sinking traffic incident remains under investigation.
