Suspects At Large After One Killed, Two Injured In Mount Vernon Shootings

At least one person is dead and two others injured during separate shootings in Westchester, according to multiple sources.

Mount Vernon police are on the hunt for the suspect or suspects in the shootings.

Tuesday morning Mount Vernon police found one dead as a result of a homicide at 240 7th Avenue. No other information was immediately available regarding the murder.

The two other shootings took place around 6 p.m. when a man and a woman were shot near Oak Street and Terrace Avenue, sources said.

A car, believed to involved with the crime, was located at Fleetwood train station. The man and woman are expected to recover from their injuries.

Police have not responded to provide additional details.
