Mount Vernon Train Platform Sexual Assault Report Untrue

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Authorities say a reported sexual assault at the Mount Vernon Train Station did not take place, according to Westchester News 12.

Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials are saying a reported sexual assault Dec. 9 at the Mount Vernon Train Station did not occur.

Police, originally were investigating a report of a woman being sexually assaulted on the platform of the station Wednesday, said Westchester News 12.

However, Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials are saying an investigation revealed the woman was emotionally distraught and was not attacked, the story said.
