MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon Fire destroyed four businesses on Monday, Aug. 11, according to News 12 Westchester.

The blaze started at approximately 2 a.m. and quickly spread. The fire originated in a Caribbean eatery and eventually severely damaged three other businesses on West First Street, News 12 Westchester reported.
