Mount Vernon Detectives Investigating Monday Morning Shootings

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The investigation into an overnight shooting outside a bar that left three injured in Mount Vernon is intensifying, as police ask the public to assist them in their search.

Police officials confirmed that officers were dispatched to the Bungalow Bar on South Fulton Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. after shots were fired, striking three victims who were hospitalized.

Two victims made it to Mount Vernon Montefiore Hospital on their own, the third had to be transported by an ambulance to be treated for “critical injuries.”

Anyone with information regarding Monday morning’s shooting have been advised to alert the Mount Vernon Police Detective’s Division at (914) 665-2510.
