Christopher Torre, Longtime Westchester Resident, Dies At 45

Christopher Carl Torre, a longtime resident of both Westchester and Dutchess, died on Friday, June 1. He was 45.

Torre, who lived in Dobbs Ferry and Pawling, was born on Aug. 16, 1972.

Chris was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed playing the drums.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Taylorann Rachel Torre, his mother Lola Torre, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Frank A. Torre.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 4 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday, June 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, JDRF.
