No Ebola Cases In Mount Vernon, Despite Rumors, Says Mayor's Office

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Mayor's Office is saying there are no confirmed cases of Ebola in the city, despite recent reports of a man showing symptoms, according to News 12 Westchester.

Talk of a man who had contracted the virus during a trip to Jamaica erupted on Facebook. The Westchester County Health Department would not confirm or deny if there was a patient with Ebola-like symptoms in the area, News 12 Westchester said.
