According to a Bond Buyer report, on Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that three priority bridges in Mount Vernon on 10th, Sixth and North 14th Avenues will be redesigned and replaced as part of a $10 million project.
Approximately $7 million will be contributed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority capital program, while local officials, including Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow and Elliot Engel secured the additional funding.
