An alert has been issued by Con Edison Construction Supervisor Robert Miraglia, warning homeowners that a contractor will be working on a gas construction project near the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

Work on the project is expected to begin this week, lasting approximately a month before it is completed.

“While we work, we’ll need to store supplies and equipment along the road in some areas,” Con Edison warned. “We may also need to excavate your sidewalk, driveway or lawn area. If your property is affected, we will restore it.”
