Lucius Crawford, 61, allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, Tonya Simmons, in December 2012 when he suspected she was seeing someone else, LoHud.com reported.

Crawford is charged with second-degree murder for both Simmons and Laronda Shealy, a Yonkers prostitute who was stabbed to death in 1993, LoHud.com said.

The defense has admitted that the parolee killed Simmons, but that it was not his intent to do so, according to LoHud.com.
