MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Did you know that three major Hollywood movies were filmed in Mount Vernon from 1999 to 2004?
The 1999 release "The Thomas Crown Affair" starring Pierce Brosnan was filmed in Wilson Woods Park. Also filmed in Mount Vernon in 1999 was an episode of the hit television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
In 2001, the movie "Riding in Cars with Boys" starring Drew Barrymore was filmed in various locations in Westchester County including Mount Vernon. Scenes were also filmed in nearby Tuckahoe, Harrison and the Bronx.
Scenes from the 2004 movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" starring Jim Carrey were also filmed in Mount Vernon.
