Mount Vernon Library Book Club Makes Choice For Black History Month

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Public Library will host a discussion as a part of the brown bag book discussion club and Black History Month. 

"On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker" will be discussed at the Mount Vernon Public Library.

They will discuss "On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker" by A'leila Blundes.

Walker was a African-American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the first female self-made millionaire in America.
