The area residents -- Alexis Leiderman and Callie Sacks of South Salem, and Nicholas Russo from Mahopac -- are part of The Binghamton Vibrations, the college's  only co-ed oldies a cappella group.

The group, founded in 1994, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this spring.

According to Leiderman, The Vibes aims to bring classic oldies music to the community of Binghamton University and throughout the Greater Binghamton area. Oldies music is classified as songs “20 years or older.”

Their most recognized songs range from "Come on Eileen" by Denys Midnight Runners, "Vienna" by Billy Joel, and "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas.

The Peekskill event -- their last before heading back to school -- is part of their second-ever Winter Tour. They have previously performed in Long Island and Manhattan.

Bean Runner Cafe is at 201 S Division St., 914-737-1701, www.beanrunnercafe.com.
