Fleetwood Neighborhood Associations Plants Beauty In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Some dedicated Mount Vernon residents will spend part of their weekend making the Fleetwood neighborhood just a bit more beautiful.

The Fleetwood Neighborhood Association is hosting its fall planting Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon.  The group will replace the plants that have wilted in flower boxes around the community. 

Anyone interested in taking part is asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the Fleetwood Deli Cafe - the neighborhood association will even by breakfast.
