Author Miss Akia Reads, Signs Books At Mount Vernon Library

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Public Library will host a meet-and-greet, book reading and signing with author Miss Akia on Wednesday in the library's Grace Greene Baker Community Room.

Miss Akia will read passages from her book "Whispers of Love," a collection of fictitious letters, poems and narratives celebrating love.

Akia will read passages from her book "Whispers of Love," a collection of fictitious letters, poems and narratives celebrating love.

Light refreshments will be served at the event, which will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
