MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. ? There's an 80 percent chance of snow on Christmas Eve, the National Weather Service reports.
The late morning temperature Monday was 37 degrees. The Weather Service predicts it will drop to around 31 by 11 p.m. Rain and snow are likely with winds blowing 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Though it is expected to snow, the Weather Service says the snow will not accumulate.
