Astorino talks about transparency in Government. Yet, he fails to publicly post positions and then hires friends. Just like Cuomo does. Hiring practices like this won't get him to the Gov mansion. View Comment
Let's note if you call Astorinos office and ask his Chief of Staff about this you won't get a return phone call. Someone really needs to investigate how the County Executives staff run this office. View Comment
Why is it that Murphy in all his press release and while he pontificates in public he say ALL THE TIME, "common sense" approach. Who's spinning his press releases for him? Murphy is talking out of his behind again. And, could he please tell the public where he went to college? This has been omitted from his bio. It's just common sense that the constituents would like to know what kind of education their elected official has. Did he get his chiropractor degree from the Home Shopping Network? View Comment
They need to be more creative with the mall space. How about an incubator hub for new emerging business? Office space for small business owners or offer space to to start-ups as pop up stores. View Comment
Cuomo is no position to evaluate anyone. Considering he is unable to evaluate his own staff, evaluate the failure of the Moreland Commissioner, evaluate the failure of his economic programs, and most failure of agencies who fail the public daily. View Comment
Speaking of Education...can Murphy please tell the constituents where he received his education? His website says, " He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Doctorate of Chiropractic" no indication of the name of the institution. View Comment
His knowledge on this subject is???????
Murphy's bio just says he went to chirpractor school. Does he have any college education? And, whose writing his press releases and spinning his rhetoric.
Just love that he sits on the "ethics" committee. Maybe his good friend Dean Skelos will be teaching him about money laundering. View Comment
Love how Murphy takes credit for everything he didn't do. Not to mention there were other ppl on the board who should get credit where credit is due. Now, let's talk about Murphy's usual vague we need green jobs How, what's his plan? As usual he's talking out of his behind and the public wants to know who's writing his press releases and who's behind the fact that he has a ghost writer. View Comment
This is good some new blood. Unlike the Republican candidates and the Republican party of Yorktown who's motto should be same old candidates, same old rhetoric.
How many times can the Republican challengers Greg Bernard run for office? How many times can Thomas Diana run for office? View Comment
Astorino needs to clean out his exec office & give das boot to George Oros. This man is an obstructionist on so many levels, a disservice to residents of Westchester. Save the tax dollars buying get rid of this piece of drift wood who is doing nothing in the County Exec office. View Comment
Business climate could be better in Westchesteri in so many ways. Lots of empty store fronts in many towns, but vacant office space needs to be filled with companies who can supply viable jobs. The issue is there is NO one in Astorino's office making any effort to lure companies to these locations. He's got his little boys club in his office and George Oros calling the shots...Mr. Oros is clueless to the needs of Westchester manufacturing and other viable industries which could create jobs. Agreed and we voted Ball in and now he will using his new wardrobe from his donors to support his new endeavor. Can we say this guy is a big fraud?
Let's make sure the constituents double check where Senator elect Murphy's funds will be going since he was bought out by the labor unions & real estate interests. Considering he's not been on the up and up about anything and his campaign was a bunch of lies, I'm sure Murphy will also end up with a new wardrobe. View Comment
Tom Diana who said he switched to be a Republican since it represented "his values". But, when you asked him what those values are he couldn't answer you.
There must be a civic minded Yorktown resident out there who would be willing to run to be on the Town Board. View Comment
I predict Murphy will be 1 term. Considering on the town board he never read any of the bills, never wrote one and failed civics while attending Yorktown High School. He's in a shocking surprise that he will actually have to do some work and hopefully won't bs his way around the Senate like he does on the Town Board.
Has anyone seen what his gpa was at Yorktown High School? And, what his gpa was while he says he attended Westchester Community College? Is there a diploma to show this actually happened. View Comment
