Tom Diana who said he switched to be a Republican since it represented "his values". But, when you asked him what those values are he couldn't answer you.
There must be a civic minded Yorktown resident out there who would be willing to run to be on the Town Board. View Comment
I predict Murphy will be 1 term. Considering on the town board he never read any of the bills, never wrote one and failed civics while attending Yorktown High School. He's in a shocking surprise that he will actually have to do some work and hopefully won't bs his way around the Senate like he does on the Town Board.
Has anyone seen what his gpa was at Yorktown High School? And, what his gpa was while he says he attended Westchester Community College? Is there a diploma to show this actually happened. View Comment
Is he the dumbest candidate? The guy can't string two sentences together. Just shows you the voters of Yorktown all they care about is their lacrosse sticks and ball fields. It's what we call the dumb jock vote! He's the candidate who has no idea out public policy, no idea about zoning and is offensive on so many levels with his stupidity as a resident of Yorktown. He's been a failure on the town board, a failure as a restaurant owner (note worst food in Westchester). View Comment
Examiner is a Republican rag. Murphy has no clue when it comes to sustainable purchasing when it comes to supporting small business or any local businesses. Note: Murphy's restaurant nothing purchased locally...he's talking out of his behind again. Ask him what local purveyors he uses and you will get a big huh!!! That's unless someone has provided him cue cards. View Comment
Tom Diana is a big turnoff as a candidate. Besides he's flip flopped on every major issue. While he was a police office for the town he ignored many important issues when it came to the safety of locals. Now, he tells Yorktowners that he's more in line with the Republican party which is a bunch of bs. Yorktown Republican party has NO good candidates to run so they will pay off any one to run, thus Mr. Diana after being a dem for a couple of centuries all of sudden is now a Republican. His views are screwed on so many issues and good luck when you ask him a question about zoning...you will get a big I don't know out of him. Ask him about basic town ammenities and he ha no clue. No wonder why he was a no show at the last debate. View Comment
Murphy lie #1 - “ I’m about integrity, and I’m about – I respect people.” Hell no, he pulled the same bs on Mike Kapowitz when he ran for twice for County Legislator. Name calling, lies and when he lost both times he was classless when it came to congratulating his opponent.
What did he promise and lie to them about to get this endorsement?
Doesn't everyone see what a fraud Murphy is? Same rhetoric every two years so he can run for something. Can't he run back to the chiropractor table. Yorktown residents are sick of him. All the guy does is show up, shake your hand & that's that. He has NO knowledge of environmental laws, zoning, urban planning, public policy...you name it and he has no clue. View Comment
Considering Murphy doesn't do his homework when it comes to coming to a Town Board meeting prepared, I do understand why he is having difficulties with basic math & basic reading. Murphy is no Diane Ravitch and his knowledge of New York's educational system is nilch. Just because someone put these ideas in front of him with a cue card we need more details why he is against Common Core. Murphy needs to tell us what ideas he has and not just show up and make the same comments over and over with no substance. Has Murphy even presented a comprehensive plan to the local school administrators? Or, is he just talking from his behind again? View Comment
Are you saying you would rather vote for the clueless Murphy, who has no knowledge of what a mandate is? Murphy's policies are based on a Wikipedia search, as he has yet to come up with an original idea on his own. We all know he has a behind the scenes ghost writer doing all his social media and giving him cue cards on what to say. View Comment
Murphy pandering again to women voters. He pulled the same bs when he ran for County Legislator and had his sisters, nieces and other female relatives show up and stage a press conference saying he was for women. This is 2014 and if Murphy is to showcase women should get paid more than he should look around the restaurant industry and right in his own kitchen & dining room. What's he paying those waitresses? hmmmmm View Comment
Anyone who normal is hocking a book sits on the couch and pitches the book with Letterman. CBS Executives told Letterman he had to do this so you will see he did it, but you could tell Letterman was not that thrilled. I'm sure Letterman wanted to ask him about the Moreland Commission. View Comment
Who is Murphy's ghost writer for this? There is NO WAY he came up with any of these ideas. "Instead of worrying about picking our state snack, Albany needs to be focused on winning the war on heroin. I'm prepared to bring that focus." this is the dumbest quote ever.
How about better roads, quality of life issues. Hate crime issues, but what do you expect from a candidate who was knocking on doors on Yom Kippur and had no clue it was a Jewish Holiday.
Many years ago the Chamber did a Tour de Yorktown, which was a great event. Then the real estate members took over. The Chamber doesn't care about small businesses, incubator businesses and anything that could be inventive or made in Yorktown. They run this Chamber like it's 1982, with no creative ideas as can be seen by their political choices of who they endorse. View Comment
