The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert cautioning that Warburton Avenue will be closed in both directions between Ashburton Avenue and Wells Avenue beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning as crews perform demolition work.
Police said that the full closure is expected to last between 8 and twelve hours. Updates are expected throughout the weekend as work is performed. Commuters have been advised to avoid the area.
