Commuters had a slow go of it on three of the major roadways in the area Thursday morning.

A crash blocked the left lane on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway. The crash, reported just before 8 a.m. in Mount Pleasant, resulted in stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays to Pleasantville Road.

There were residual delays on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in Rye Brook after a tractor-trailer, driving illegally on the park, hit an overpass before dawn.

Lanes have reopened after being closed, during which time traffic was diverted onto King Street.

No injuries were reported.

There were stop-and-go delays on the Sprain Brook Parkway on the northbound side at I-287 after a crash reported at 8 a.m.
