Greenfield-Webster competed at the 2013 World Masters Athletics/Masters Track and Field World Championships in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where she won the gold medal in her specialty event, the women's triple jump.

The gold earned her the individual world champion title and status of being number one in her age group (35 and over).

"This has been a long time goal and dream of mine that I had prepared long and hard for," she said, "I'm on cloud nine at having been able to achieve it despite an injury setback."

Greenfield-Webster has been an athlete her entire life and was previously a multi-sport athlete at Mount Vernon High School.

She suffered a meniscus tear a few months before the competition, but was able to recover in time.

Greenfield-Webster won bronze at her first world championship in Italy in 2007. She won the Bronze again in 2009 in Finland and the Silver in 2011 - along with a Gold medal as part of the U.S. 4x100m relay team.

"As a wife, mother of two young daughters, and a healthcare professional, this is now one of the greatest achievements of my life," she said.
