Yankees More Likely Playoff Bound Than Mets, New Yorkers Say

New Yorkers believe that the Yankees are more likely than the Mets to make the playoffs, according to a new Siena poll.

Both teams will look to make the playoffs this season.

The Bronx Bombers were also the favorite professional team of New Yorkers followed by the Mets, Giants, Bills and Jets.

Among the other results were that football edges out baseball and basketball as the top spectator sport and the majority of people exercise at least three hours a week with walking, jogging and working out being the most common activities.
