Tuckahoe Football Team Moves On To State Semifinals

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- The Tuckahoe High football team dominated Section 9 champ Roscoe/Downsville/Livingston Manor in a New York State Class D quarterfinal-round game Saturday, rolling to a 35-21 victory in a game played at Sleepy Hollow High School.

Tuckahoe, now 3-6, is one win from playing in a state championship game at the Carrier Dome.

The Tigers will play their semifinal game at Dietz Stadium on Friday, facing Section 7's Ticonderoga (10-1) at 4 p.m.

Christopher Corrado (who was named Most Outstanding Back) had three touchdowns and 128 yards rushing for Tuckahoe, which led 35-7 by halftime. Joshua Sanz was named Outstanding Lineman.
