NFL Players Association Appeals Rice Suspension

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle's Ray Rice's appeal regarding his indefinite suspension was appealed on Tuesday, Sept. 16 by the NFL players' union, according to a report by ESPN.

The former Baltimore Ravens running back  was originally suspended for two games after being charged with assault following an altercation with his then finacee in an elevator.

After new evidence surfaced, his suspension was extended indefinitely. 

The NFL and players union agree that Rice will remain suspended indefinitely until the appeal is resolved, according to the report.
