Mount Vernon Youth Tennis Clinic Opens Registration

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Department of Recreation's Youth Tennis Clinic has opened registration for the Youth Tennis Program.

The program is for children ages 7-17 to have the opportunity to learn tennis and improve their skills in a safe and supportive setting. With tennis sized right for age and ability, it's easier and more fun than ever for kids to play – even if they've never picked up a racket.

The program starts Friday, April 3, and ends Friday, June 19. Beginners are scheduled for Fridays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.; and advanced students are scheduled for Fridays, 7:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $100 for residents and $110 for nonresidents.

To sign up, visit the Mount Vernon Department of Recreation, 1 Roosevelt Square No. 11, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
