EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- A group of students from Tuckahoe High School spent part of their holiday break giving families in Yonkers a lasting gift.

Volunteers from the school’s Habitat For Humanity club helped build houses for veterans during their vacation.

The club has also assisted with rehabilitation efforts in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
