Public Gets Chance To Express Views On Mount Vernon School Budget

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the superintendent's proposed budget for 2016-17 on Tuesday, May 3, at Holmes Elementary School.

The meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. will begin with the public hearing on the budget, followed by the regular board meeting. 

There will be an opportunity for public comment during the meeting. Resident who would like to speak, need to sign up with the District Clerk by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3. Sign up is available by phone at (914)-665-5235, or by email at rmccormack@mtvernoncsd.org.
