Mount Vernon Teachers Hold Dress Down Day Fundraiser

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Federation of Teachers (MVFT) has announced a dress down day fundraiser on Monday, Dec. 15, to help needy children within the district.

Teachers are welcome to dress down on Monday with a $10 donation to help make a better holiday for the more than 500 needy students in the district.

All money will go to purchasing gift cards for students in need.

Checks can be made out to MVFT.
