The free program will meet once a week during the month of July, from 10-11:30 a.m. Mondays or Thursdays.

Though any local student may apply, the program is especially suited for middle school-age students interested in historical interpretation, according to a press release.

However, elementary and high school students have participated in the past.

Graduates will receive certificates after they lead tours of part of the site for family members and friends.

This will be the 10th summer of the educational program at St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site, which includes one of the nation’s oldest graveyards.

Applications should be submitted by June 10.
