Mount Vernon School Board Holds Special Budget Meeting

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Board of Education is holding a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Mount Vernon Schools Superintendent Kenneth R. Hamilton's proposed 2015-16 budget is one of the items on the agenda for a special Board of Education meeting Tuesday.

Agenda items include the superintendent’s proposed budget for 2015-16, the Board of Cooperative Educational Services administrative budget and the election of trustees to the BOCES board.

There will be no other business conducted and no opportunities for members of the public to speak.

The special meeting will be held at The Education Center, 165 N. Columbus Ave.
