Mount Vernon After-School Program Needs Volunteer Teachers

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Westchester Jewish Community Services After-School Academy is seeking certified teachers to volunteer for the Off the Street program at Hamilton School and the Amazing Afternoons program at Edward Williams School in Mount Vernon.

Volunteer teachers are needed for students in the after-school program at Edward Williams School in Mount Vernon.

Both programs take place five days a week from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Volunteers will assist with homework and help mentor students in grades one through six.

Participants must be able to commit to at least one day a week from November through May for a minimum of one hour weekly.
