The family’s 2017 Toyota RAV 4 was struck by a 32-year-old Oak Ridge, NJ man driving a 2007 Freightliner M21 in the northbound lanes near milepost 11.9 in Bushkill Township just after 1:25 a.m., DailyVoice.com reported.

Alexis Robinson, 39, was driving the vehicle, while her husband, Darrell Robinson, 42, was in the front passenger seat, and their daughter, Tahlia Robinson, 16, was in the back passenger-side seat, according to a PennLive.com report that cites Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.

The Blakeslee, Pennsylvania family all died from multiple blunt-force injuries, Lysek said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Fast Lane Towing, state police said.

The northbound lanes were closed for several hours following the crash, which remained under investigation, PSP Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed on Twitter.
