Man Injured In Shooting On Orchard Street In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- A man was injured after being shot on Orchard Street in Norwalk late Thursday night, according to police.

Police responded to the area of 33 Orchard St. at 11:50 p.m. after receiving multiple calls reporting shots fired. A short time later, Norwalk Hospital reported that a man had arrived suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.

Detectives determined that the shooting was not random and that the man who was shot was the likely target, police said. However, the man is being uncooperative, according to police.
