Car barrels onto Paramus lawn

ONLY ON CVP: The driver and passenger of a Dodge Caliber with Virginia license plates were uninjured when their vehicle left the road and barreled onto the front lawn of a Paramus home today.

A passing Washington Township ambulance crew stopped to assist, but both the male and female occupants of the vehicle refused medical aid.

Paramus police were investigating the cause of the Forest Avenue crash late this morning.

The car was removed by flatbed tow truck.

There was no damage to the house, although several shrubs and flowers were destroyed.
