Police Seek Weapon In Deadly Yonkers Shooting

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Police say they have not been able to find a gun after searching for a weapon in connection with a police-involved shooting death Tuesday on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers, according to Hudson Valley News 12.

According to reports, 36-year-old Miguel Espinal was shot and killed by a New York Police Department officer after a police chase from the Bronx to Tibbets Brook Park in Yonkers, added the news station. 

Initial reports said that Espinal might be armed, and police say there was some kind of confrontation in the park between Espinal and the officer that led to the shooting, reported Hudon Valley News 12.
