A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday until 1 a.m. Thursday with anywhere from 3 to 8 inches of accumulation possible in Westchester, with higher amounts to the north and west.
While accumulations totals are uncertain, the storm will impact travel conditions, reducing visibility to a quarter- to a half-mile at times, according to the National Weather Service.
The Winter Storm Warning covers the Hudson Valley as well as most of the interior of Connecticut and northern New Jersey.
For Westchester, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday. The area will see a mix of rain and snow throughout the day, with a high near 40 degrees.
Thanksgiving Day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 37 degrees. Strong winds will drop the wind chill values to 25 and 30 degrees.
