Youth Bureau Invites White Plains to Open House

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Youth Bureau invites White Plains to learn about the more than 50 programs it offers at a Saturday open house.

Youth Bureau staff will be available to talk about the After-School Connection, various summer camps, Growing White Plains' Community Agriculture Project, fitness happenings and cultural programs from noon to 4 p.m. Besides registering early for summer camps, families are offered refreshments, prizes, give-aways and children's activities organized by the educational supply store Straight A's.

New York Life Insurance Company is sponsoring the open house and offering attendees access to its child ID initiative. Families will be able to have their children's fingerprints and photos taken, which will be included alongside vital information in an ID designed to assist law enforcement officials during emergencies.
