The fair is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 31
Such issues could include being in trouble paying property taxes or mortgage, and other issues that could lead to loss of home ownership.
The city's aim is to make sure people get the right information before things go bad. That could include finding out how to get senior citizen assistance, referrals for free legal service and home buying information for first-timers.
They also will include information on property tax arrears, loan modification and the New York State Mortgage Assistance Program.
Anyone interested in the fair can sign up through WRO, either on its website, by fax at (914) 428-9455 or by phone at (914) 428-4507. All faxes should include a name, address and topic of interest.
The deadline for reservations is March 30.
