Voter Registration Closes Friday In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - With less than a month left until Election Day, the last day to register to vote is Friday. 

Are you registered to vote? If not, you have until Oct. 9 to register to cast your ballot in the November election.

Residents are encouraged to make sure their voter registration information is accurate, including a current address, so they can vote.

To register, download and complete the voter registration form and return to: 

Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601. 

Mail or deliver the form at least 25 days before the election. Westchester County will notify all who register when they are able to vote.

In order to vote in any election, residents must be registered to vote, must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old by Election Day and be a resident of Westchester County for at least 30 days prior to the election date.

The New Rochelle City Clerk’s office acts as a liaison to the County Board of Elections and only assists in the election process as directed by the County Board of Elections as a local satellite office on Election Day.
