WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Democratic gubernatorial dark horse Zephyr Teachout called Gov. Andrew Cuomo a member of Albany's "corrupt old boys club," on Tuesday, Aug. 19, according to the New York Daily News.

Teachout was outside a Brooklyn Appellate Court when she made the comment. Cuomo had just filed an appeal to have Teachout stricken from the ballot for allegedly failing to meet the residency requirements to run for governor, the Daily News Reported.

Teachout went on to attack Cuomo for ignoring her demands for a public debate and accused him of trying to get rid of a "real Democratic party," the Daily News said.
