Mount Vernon Legislator Hosts Pipeline Information Talk

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — Westchester County Legislator Lyndon Williams, D-Mount Vernon, will host an information session on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. to discuss the installation and replacement of gas pipelines in parts of the city by Consolidated Edison.

This public meeting will take place at the Mount Vernon City Council Chamber. City Council members and representatives from Con Edison will be present.

“The major infrastructure work being undertaken in regard to the gas pipelines in Mount Vernon has generated a number of questions and concerns from community members, business owners and local officials,” Williams said in a press release. “It’s important that people have an opportunity to express these concerns and also learn more about this ongoing project.”

The City Council Chamber is in City Hall at 1 Roosevelt Square.
