MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Independence Club thanks its supporter who campaigned for Independence Club-sponsored candidates, the voters and all of the people of Mount Vernon for listening to third-party candidates.

Richard Thomas, Lyndon Williams, Andre Wallace and Lisa Copeland all won their elections Nov. 3. Janice Duarte, who ran solely on the Independence Club party, earned the most votes (1,858) of any Mount Vernon candidate to run only on a third-party line.
