Members of the North Castle Police Department were dispatched to BOCES’ Rye Lake campus on Old Orchard Street shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11 after the principal reported that a 17-year-old male student was intoxicated and had possibly taken medication.

Police said that upon arrival, the student was unresponsive in the nurse’s office, and officers transferred the call to the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services, which dispatched a Valhalla Ambulance and medic.

The student was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment and evaluation. His condition was not immediately clear on Thursday afternoon.
