While police investigated the shooting on Monday morning, a section of Gramatan Avenue was shut down for hours to traffic.

“Our Quality of Life Task Force will continue to focus on this establishment and others like it that fail to secure their premises and their patrons,” Mount Vernon Police Commissioner Ron Fatigue said. “Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. Police presence was strong in the area and the response to the scene was swift.
