New York State Police say Roylee Fuller was charged Monday with felony first-degree identity theft, according to a notice from state police. Fuller reportedly used "a man's personal information to open a credit account at Target," according to the notice from state police.

The victim was a Cortlandt resident who reported in April that Target notified him of an account opened in his name and a purchase of more than $600 was made in Mount Vernon, according to state police.

"Police launched an investigation and identified Fuller as the culprit," representatives said in the notice. "They did not say how Fuller gained access to the man’s personal information."

Those with information are asked to contact the state police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 914-788-8044.
