The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Thursday to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 67-year-old Lee Scott, who has moved from Valhalla to a residence on Glen Avenue in Mount Vernon.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Scott a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Scott raped a 13-year-old girl in 2007, having "deviate sexual intercourse" with her by "immediately and physically overpowering her." He was arrested by the Mount Vernon City Police Department and sentenced to four years in state prison the following year. He remains under the jurisdiction of police in Mount Vernon.

As part of his release from prison, Scott cannot seek pornographic material or have unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18. He must participate in sex offender treatment programs and was given a mental health referral.
