Police Seek Clues To Stabbing Of Man In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Police are seeking clues related to a multiple stabbing of a man in Mount Vernon Tuesday night, according to  News 12.

A man reportedly was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night in the area of East 4th Street in Mount Vernon.

Police were seen closing a section of East 4th Street at about 11 p.m., said the report.

Detectives encountered a blood trail from the corner in that area that went to a building at 8 East 4th Street, said News 12.

A man who had many stab wounds "walked into Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital at about 11:15 p.m.," according to the report.

His condition is not known but he was brought to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, said News 12.
