Police Investigating Toddler's Death In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Police are investigating the death of a 13-month-old toddler that was found in a Mount Vernon home on Friday morning.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on Friday, a baby was found dead in a Washington Street home. According to multiple reports, an arrest is imminent.

The toddler reportedly may have been found in a freezer.

The Westchester County District Attorney’s office is assisting in the investigation. Mount Vernon police officials did not immediately respond for comment.
