Police Identify Suspects In Westchester Verizon Store Armed Robbery

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Investigators with the Bronxville Police Department have identified "several individuals" who may have been responsible for an armed robbery of a Verizon location last month.

Officers were dispatched to The A Wireless location on Pondfield Road, which is an authorized Verizon Wireless agent, when several suspects, reportedly in possession of knives, entered the location in an attempt to stick it up.

Police said that officers responded to the location immediately and there were no injuries reported. Detectives proceeded to review village surveillance cameras to identify and locate a vehicle used to flee the scene and “several individuals” who may have been responsible for the armed robbery.

Since the robbery, police said that they have added additional walking patrols through the business district to “further provide for a safe shopping experience.”

It is not clear if the suspects made off with any cash or merchandise. Police said that the case remains under “active and aggressive” investigation, with an assist from the NYPD, Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
